This blog will take you around and into the deep chambers of the worlds oldest castles. You will see and read what lies hidden in between walls of pure pain, places which have its own energy of torments.
Ye shall tremble in the presences of the old and hollow, and there shall only be peace for the humble soul. Ye shall not walk upon scared ground, or thou shall be hunted by Hells Hound. Listen to the tales of the cold stone castles and
beware of where ye tread…
Wine is strong, the King is stronger, women are strongest, but TRUTH conquers all.

When I hear people speak about castles, which haven’t been that many times, then they usually have one angel to a castles story in mind. This will be my own investigation into castles around the world.

Dragsholm Castle Many souls have been stripped clean in this house of the lords, chains dragged over a stone blooded ground, only meat to a ruthless hound. Priests from the old days laid their prayers in the blood of the innocent. A place of torment and pain.
Dragsholm Castle is actually a big (estate/Villa), located in Sjælland in Denmark. This castle is the oldest no-religious building in Denmark, dating to around 12th century. Even thou it is said to be non-religious it was given to ‘the Bishop of Roskilde’ as a church related treaties. It is speculated that there might have been a building on the site before this castle was build, but northing is presented to confirm that. Actually the Danish city Called Roskilde has an interesting history, especially in the years that this building, is said to have been build. A man named Absalon was archbishop in those days, and he is in himself an interesting character. The king reclaimed the building and changed its function, to be that of a prison. It is said that it was in those days that many cruel things happened, and from those days, it would said to be hunted. The prisoners were every one from pirates to other priests, even people from other countries.
There must be many past presences there, just the age and function of the building, should contain some sort of energy.
Old legends/myths about Dragsholm: One old tale, before 1678, tells the story of a maiden girl called Sechmann, danced her self to death. The remarkable thing that her grave was opened around 1778, where it is said that she still looked alive, all red, and white. Here are many of such myths attached to this castle, and much of it is painful.
The white lady: - Ghost The story goes as follows; Year 1540. Fare back in the olden days, a young woman lived there, she was called Celestine Mariann de Bayonne Gyldenstierne. It is said that her father was a cruel and evil man, who only wanted to control the beautiful young Celestine. As she became of age, her father sought out a husband for her. But Celestine had fallen in love with one of the stable boys, they had shared many sunsets together. They would meet in secret, and dream about a future together. But one day Celestine’s father had followed her, and saw them together. He was filled with rage, and could only see one punishment strong enough for that betrayal. He had the stable boy killed. Celestine had become pregnant, and the father had to keep the rumor from going around town, about his pregnant child. The father gathered the castles workers and the family, they celebrated a farewell party for Celestine, they all thought that she would be leaving town, to live in another town. But after everyone had said their goodbyes, her father took her to the banishment, where he had something special made for her…
The father had made a little space inside one of the walls, where he placed her, and began to brick the wall up in front of her. She screamed and begged her father, but he was so angry that no matter what she cried, he would not stop. Celestine could be heard for days, screaming from her sealed fate.
In 1910 the castle was being rebuilt, and some walls were moved to make room for some new toilets, they found her behind one of these walls.
She is said to walk around in the castle at night. Celestine is regarded as a sad soul that brings back luck to people who misbehave at the castle.
This was merely one of the horrific stories which took place in this castle, and there are many more... Another more famous person who sadly was a prisoner of this castle was the Earl of Bothwell, James Hepburn (1536-1578).
